Chiara Ferragni

Italian blogger, entrepreneur, fashion designer, and model Chiara Ferragni (born 7 May 1987) has worked with several fashion and cosmetics companies on projects for her blog The Blonde Salad.

In 1987, Ferragni was born in Cremona, a city in northern Italy. The oldest of three daughters of a Cremona dentist, Ferragni. Her mother, Marina Di Guardo, is a Sicilian-born author who served as the fashion house's deputy director. She was employed by the Beatrice modelling agency in Milan, Italy, when she was 16 years old. She worked as a model for the agency for a few years before leaving because she had "other goals to reach in my life." In October 2009, she co-founded the fashion website "The Blonde Salad" with Riccardo Pozzoli, her ex-boyfriend. While a law student at Bocconi University, she was featured as the Blogger of the Moment in Teen Vogue in December 2011.

Early Life

She released The Blonde Salad, an eBook in Italian, in December 2013. In a photo session for a Guess commercial campaign in November 2013, she modelled. She and Steve Madden began working together in December 2013 to create a nine-shoe collection for spring 2014. her 2014, her commercial endeavours brought her roughly $8 million, primarily from the sales of her shoes from the Chiara Ferragni Collection. Her television work includes hosting the Italian TRL Awards and making a cameo appearance on the variety programme Chiambretti Night. In August 2014, she made an additional appearance on Project Runway as a guest judge for the 13th season.

Her website and shoe brand, Chiara Ferragni Collection, were featured as a case study at Harvard Business School in January 2015. Ferragni was chosen in March to feature on the cover of the April 2015 issue of Vogue Espaa, making her the first fashion blogger to do so. Together with Zanita Whittington and Nicole Warne, Chiara was featured in Lucky magazine. Pantene selected Ferragni as their new worldwide ambassador in January 2016. In September 2016, Mattel produced two Barbie versions of Ferragni, one sporting a head-to-toe Chanel ensemble and the other a white T-shirt, black leather jacket, trousers, and Chiara Ferragni Collection shoes.

The summertime smash "Non mi basta più" by Italian rapper Baby K, which features Chiara Ferragni, was released in June 2020. During the COVID-19 epidemic in Italy, Ferragni and her husband organised a fundraiser to earn €3 million in only 24 hours for the San Raffaele Hospital in Milan. Ferragni joined the Tod's Group Board of Directors in April 2021. Ferragni revealed the Nespresso x Chiara Ferragni line on her social media in May 2021. In honour of the capsule, a transient pop-up café was established. She announced the debut of her own fragrance brand for 2022.
