Zoe Sugg

Born on March 28, 1990, Zoë Elizabeth Sugg—better known online as Zoella—is a well-known English novelist, entrepreneur, and media personality. Since starting her YouTube channel in 2009, she has gained over 10 million subscribers.

Sugg debuted her Zoella Beauty line of cosmetics in 2014, and a 2019 estimate stated that the two companies brought in a total of £3.8 million annually from their complimentary homeware product lines. When Girl Online, her debut book, was released in November 2014, it shattered the record for the biggest first-week sales for a rookie author. In the intervening years, she has published two sequels, a nonfiction book titled Cordially Invited, and co-authored the novel duology The Magpie Society alongside Amy McCulloch.

It was revealed in February 2019 that Sugg collaborated with ColourPop Cosmetics on a limited-edition beauty line inspired by 1970s style. Sugg co-developed the mobile photography app Filmm with Elsie Larson and Emma Chapman, which was unveiled in April 2019. She later revealed Template, a different mobile editing programme made just for modifying Instagram stories. Sugg and Etsy worked together to create a homeware line in August 2020 that includes goods that are hand-picked by Sugg and independent Etsy merchants.
