Lele Pons

Lele Pons Maronese, an American YouTuber, actor, and singer, was born in Venezuela on June 25, 1996. Before Vine was shut down in 2016, she gained notoriety there as the third most followed Viner and the most followed woman, with 11.5 million followers. After that, she started doing comedic skits on YouTube, where, as of August 2023, she has more over 18 million subscribers. Since then, she has published her own songs, appeared in TV shows and films, and co-written a book. She presently runs a podcast on Spotify called Best Kept Secrets with Lele Pons and stars in a YouTube Original docuseries called The Secret Life of Lele Pons, which offers an intimate insight into her personal life.

Early Life And Career

The daughter of paediatrician Anna Maronese Pivetta and architect Luis Guillermo Pons Mendoza, Eleonora Pons Maronese was born in Caracas. Her father's discovery of his homosexuality caused her parents to divorce when she was a little child. She is the niece of Puerto Rican singer Chayanne and is of Italian and Spanish ancestry. At the age of five, she immigrated to the United States and grew up in Miami. After completing her studies at Miami Country Day School in 2015, she relocated to Los Angeles. She said that she would "get hurt to make them laugh" since she struggled to make friends in high school. In addition, she spoke of experiencing bullying in high school, saying, "I'm the other girl; I'm not like the cool girls."

Pons got her start in the video game industry on Vine. According to what she's said, she utilised Vine as a platform to highlight her artistic endeavours. "I started with my friends, and I started becoming bad," Pons claimed in an interview with Teen Vogue. It wasn't even hilarious stuff at first; it was simply incredibly clever." As Pons's fan base grew, she noted that it "got to the point where a lot of people depended on me to make them... just so they could get a laugh." Personal Life

Pons was born and reared in Miami, but until she became a US citizen at the age of 23, she was only a Venezuelan citizen.
Pons started dating Puerto Rican artist Guaynaa in December 2020. In July 2022, they announced their engagement, and on March 4, 2023, they were married.
Pons suffers from severe OCD in addition to Tourette condition.
